1. Social Dance
These are some things I noticed in the video, the teacher was boring, he would not come from behind the desk to show the students how to dance, and screamed at one of the students when he stood up to try to show the other students how the dance should go. The dance class was not set up correctly to teach dance. The students had a final exam, and they had never practice dancing at all.
2. Teaching In the 21 century
I realize that teachers must have good computer skills. The teacher must be able to show students how to, blog, twitter, use google, ipods, filter, youtube, facebook, wikipedia etc. The lesson has to be relevant, challenging, and engaging. Students don't need to be entertained, they are in class to learn.
3. Network Student Common Craft
Teachers are in control of the students learning. They must be taught how to find websites, google, blog and use bookmarks. Students learn to blog to ask questions and get answers, The teacher has a wide range of connections on internet to build a network and guidance through different agents.
4.Harness for student digital smarts
Teacher also will teach blogging in this video, but she will also learn from her students. She allows them to get comfortable with software, and digi teen citizenship rights and responsibilities. The students write reports using the computer with other students, they share with one another.
5. Learning race with Dr. Strange
Gulf Shores Elementary, This video lets us know how advance students really are.
The first graders know how to use googles form, google doc, recording audio, and ipads.
Third graders use macs books enthusiastically, for undergrads this is hard to learn. The students also know how to create images and imovies.
6.Flipping The Classroom
The students are able to view their teacher at home on their own computer. If they don't have one they can also do their homework the next day in class. Students are expected to use technology in school and home for class work and homework. Math is mostly the subject now. The students are expected to improve, create, ask questions, imagine and plan.

Blog Post 1
I heard that EDM310 was very hard, and that I was going to have to take it if i wanted to become a teacher. I was told that I would learn a lots about the computer, but it was going to be hard because I don't really know a lots about the computer. My greatest fear is because I am 59 I may not be able to keep up with my assignments, and classmates. EDM310 seems to be total computer. My other college courses seemed to be a little easier. We were able to type papers and turn them in. The computer will be the most difficult to me, because I have some catching up to do. I realize I must push myself to learn more concerning the computer. I have a drive to catch on and learn more. I don't really have many questions about EDM310, I am willing to take the challenge.

I have been married for 36 years,I have a son, daughter, and 5 grandchildren. I have been living in Mobile for 56 years. At the church I attend I teach a young adult Sunday school class. We feed the homeless about 2 Saturdays in the month.
I returned to South to finish my degree. I have always worked with young people. Along with driving the school bus, I also substitute twice a week when I am needed. I graduated from S. D. Bishop State Community College in 1976. I started at South in the 80's and had to quit. I am back again a returning student at a very advanced age. I plan to do my best, and finish what I started.
